Privacy policy
Your network is not our dataset.
No Nexus account is required. Core CRM data is stored locally on your device in the Nexus App Group. Nexus does not use CloudKit, an advertising ID, third-party analytics, or a developer-hosted contact database.
1. Core relationship data
Contacts created in Nexus, notes, follow-ups, interaction history, relationship scores, smart lists, and voice memos remain on the device. They may be included in an iPhone or iPad backup according to your Apple backup settings. Export happens only when you start an export and choose where to send the file.
2. Apple Contacts, Calendar, and microphone
Apple Contacts access is optional and requires the system permission prompt. Nexus reads contacts only to support the import you request. Calendar access is optional and is used to review past meetings for relationship history. Microphone access is optional and is used only to record a private voice memo. Imported or recorded data is stored locally and is not sent to Halo AI Services.
3. Optional email metadata
If a reviewed Gmail or Microsoft connection is available and you choose to connect it, Nexus requests metadata needed to derive who you communicated with and when. It does not import message bodies or attachments. The app stores derived signals and provider cursors locally. Google and Microsoft process requests under their own privacy terms.
4. Optional social connections
If a reviewed social provider is available and you choose OAuth connection, the app requests only the scopes shown during provider consent. Supported graph data is fetched from the provider to your device and stored in the local Nexus graph. Provider capabilities differ, so Nexus does not claim follower lists or messages when a platform does not expose them.
Nexus will not enable a production OAuth provider while readable social credentials are stored on a developer server. A provider must use a device-only, App Review-compliant token handoff before its Connect control is enabled.
5. Private Smart Brief
If you enable Smart Brief, Nexus creates a concise relationship-network summary and suggested next actions. On supported devices, it can use Apple's on-device language model. If that model is unavailable or does not respond promptly, Nexus uses a deterministic rules-based summary instead. Relationship data is not sent to a cloud AI service, and Nexus does not use a third-party AI API for this feature.
6. Subscriptions
Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Halo AI Services does not receive your payment card details.
7. No advertising or tracking
Nexus contains no advertising SDK, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell relationship data. The app does not collect usage analytics or crash telemetry for Halo AI Services.
8. Deletion and correction
You can edit or delete contacts and interactions in the app. Disconnecting a provider removes its local token, cursors, graph or email signals, and synchronized timeline entries. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to copies retained in your Apple device backups.
9. Data from other people
When importing contacts or communication metadata, use Nexus responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection law. Do not add sensitive information you do not have a lawful reason to keep.
10. Children
Nexus is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed to children.
